Welcome to Trumattack

Trumattack is an innovative music program that brings together a diverse group of musicians, including percussionists from various cultural backgrounds, to conduct engaging workshops in schools. These workshops utilize unconventional instruments such as plastic buckets and drumsticks, along with singing, body percussion, handclaps, and stamping. The beauty of Trumattack is that it can be adapted to any setting, regardless of prior musical knowledge. The organizers ensure that the workshops are suitable for different age groups, allowing all children to learn and enjoy drumming. The Trumattack project is a part of the Development Center's initiative called "We're beating drums, not each other," which highlights the positive impact of drumming on students' well-being and academic performance. Recognizing the importance of providing ongoing drumming opportunities, UNGA Musik i Syd has initiated and nurtured the Trumattack program.
