These are traditional drums known as bunde or Ohangla drums. The bunde drums are made of cow skin and metal cans. They are played with sticks or hands and tuned by fire or sun heat. Traditionally, they are played by a group of people who belong to the Luo ancestry and/or speak Luo. They reside in different parts of eastern and central Africa, including the Luo people of Uganda, South Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
